New Luxury Vehicles join the expanding Fleet, and an Upbeat Financial statements means Excelsior is definitely on the Move!

Excelsior Coaches, Has just welcomed 3 new arrivals to their fleet of luxury coaches. The brand new 51 seater Volvo B12M Plaxton Parragon’s 12.8 Metre long Executive coaches have just entered service, after going through their road trials and acceptance. Managing Director Kathy Tilbury said “They have come straight in to service, and have all gone straight out on tour.

This is part of our strategic fleet renewal programme, it will see us having one of the newest fleets in the business, this is the 2nd phase delivery of 3 orders bringing a total of 9 12.8 meter vehicles on the fleet, the last 3 are currently on the production line, and set to join us late spring and will be registered as after March 1st 2008, this means that our oldest vehicle will be less that 5 years old!”

The Vehicles all specified to ensure an above average level of passenger comfort and facilities, also include a number of features to assist the driver, as well as on board systems that the vehicle operates to the highest level of performance.

Excelsior are proud that with the delivery of these new coaches it operates the most eco-friendly coach fleet on the South Coast, with every vehicle on the fleet being fully compliant with the soon to be introduced London Low Emission Zone (LEZ).
