Excelsior Flies High at Bournemouth Air festival

Organisers have declared the inaugural More Bus Bournemouth Air Festival, (in association with Excelsior Coaches) a triumph for the town. The UK’s leading resort has seen hundreds of thousands of people descend to its seafront as local residents and visitors enjoyed the free 4-day Air Festival.

The Festival itself has seen breathtaking displays from the Black Cats Helicopter Display Team, Team Guinot Wing Walkers and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight as well as the awesome Eurofighter Typhoon and a record three appearances by the world-famous Red Arrows.

Over 300,000 people visited the seafront’s seven miles of golden beach enjoying the Festival atmosphere on Saturday, this is the most people Bournemouth’s seafront has ever seen.

Excelsior Coaches Ltd, along with Wilts and Dorset were title sponsors for the event and provided transportation for Park and Ride, Corporate Hospitality and Traders throughout the duration of the 4 day Air Festival.

Managing Director of Excelsior Coaches declared the event a huge success for all concerned, far beyond our expectations in terms of attendance, and the displays were amazing, from Excelsior’s perspective we had huge coverage and exposure across the spectrum of our client market. Looking along the Bournemouth beach I was stunned at the crowds, all seeing the Excelsior brand. I couldn’t have asked for more. When I committed to do this over a year ago, I had my doubts for a number of reasons, I am so glad I took the risk, It proved an opportunity not to be missed and seeing organisations and local business’s come together and work along side each other gave a great sense of achievement. We now need to build on this for next year’s event.
